Insurance Center of Pendleton has been serving the Pendleton area and surrounding communities since 1990. Mike Kirby and Lisa Norman purchased the agency in June of 2017. Mike & Lisa are dedicated to continuing to provide excellent customer service for all the Agency's clients.
Sean Kirby – Client Manager
As Client Manager, Sean is the primary contact for our clients. Sean is a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health agent. He is full time with the agency and is finishing his degrees in finance and accounting. Sean completed an internship with Performance Tax LLC in 2015-2016. Sean enjoys Crossfit, golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Mike Kirby – Agent
Mike has been in the insurance and financial services industry for 29 years. Mike has been a member of the Pendleton business community since 2004. Mike and his family moved to Pendleton after he retired from his position as President and CEO of two insurance companies in Iowa. Mike owns several businesses in Pendleton including Performance Financial Group, LLC, Performance Tax, LLC, Linnie B's Laundry, Performance Storage LLC, PFG Real Estate, and Tricked Out Car & Truck Sales, LLC. Mike and his life partner, Lisa have two children, Sean & Erin. Mike enjoys, traveling, bird hunting and spending time at the lake.
Lisa Norman – Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Lisa manages the overall functions of the agency. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Iowa. Lisa has worked in the insurance industry since 2002. She spent eight years working for at the home office of a large insurance company in Iowa. She moved to Pendleton in 2009 and is the Director of Operations for several businesses that she and Mike are building together. Lisa is Sean & Erin’s stepmom and she loves her four puppies, traveling and spending time at the lake.
Bethany Caplinger – Administrative Assistant
Bethany joined Insurance Center of Pendleton in 2016. Bethany works with Mike, Lisa and Sean to provide excellent client service. Bethany is married to Adam and they have two wonderful children, Reese and Rylynn and a dog named Cooper.
